About Rae-Lynne's Busy Life My love of animals started as far back as I have memories. Between saving orphaned critters and nursing sick animals , I drew , colored and painted animals. I have collected reference material and painted across North America when and while I was making a living long haul trucking. I made wonderful friends and had so much fun on my adventures. My studio is on the top floor of my salvaged 1892 log cabin overlooking the Shuswap Lake in the middle of a stand of old Douglas Fir trees out in the middle of the rugged mountains of southern British Columbia. It is a very inspiring area. When not creating artwork I love to ride my gorgeous Icelandic mare Luggie and I love tending to my beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. My little buddy Jessie, my adopted King Charles Cavalier, is such a Joy to be with, he lights up my life and helps me with my daily chores.
